HoD's Message
It is my privilege to welcome you to the Department of Computer Science at the KICSIT campus of the Institute of Space Technology. Our department is committed to academic excellence, innovation, and preparing graduates to excel in both technology and business. We proudly offer programs that meet the highest standards of accreditation and compliance: the BS Computer Science (4 Years) program accredited by NCEAC, the MS Computer Science program with NOC issued by HEC Islamabad, and the BBA (4 Years) program launching in Fall 2026, fully aligned with the HEC 2025 Curriculum for Business and Management and approved by the Academic Council of IST. The BBA program will also feature a strong emphasis on Business Analytics, equipping students with the ability to harness data-driven insights for strategic decision-making in modern enterprises.
Our graduates are making their mark by establishing their own ventures, joining leading technology firms, and serving in government and semi-government organizations including the Pakistan Armed Forces. They consistently secure positions in inter-university competitions, reflecting the quality of education and mentorship they receive here. With specialization courses in various fields of computing like in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain Technologies, Mobile and Web Development, and Programming, our programs combine rigorous academics with practical exposure, industry collaboration, and research opportunities.
