BSCS program is spread over four academic years. Each academic year consists of two regular teaching semesters i.e. Fall and Spring semesters.

Spring Semester:

• February to June

Fall Semester:

• August to January

Each semester comprises of sixteen weeks of teaching. Mid Semester Examination are held after eighth week. The seventeenth week shall be of preparatory holidays for End Semester Examination which shall be held in the eighteen week.
The medium of instruction at KICSIT is English except for Islamic Studies.

• 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday

These timings may change as per requirement of the Institute. Each semester is followed by a few weeks inter-semester break for the preparation of semester results and for students to recreate and prepare for next semester.

KICSIT is Sub Campus of Institute of Space Technology (IST). All admissions to KICSIT are subject to approval of IST, these are finalized by issuance of Registration Numbers from University.
