Bachelor of Science in Physics (BS Physics)


The Bachelor of Science in Physics Degree program is now offered in KICSIT. Each academic year consists of two regular teaching semesters i.e. Fall and Spring semesters.

Admission Criteria

Eligibility (as per IST Admission Criteria)
a. SSC/Equivalent Certificate
b. F.Sc /Pre-Engineering/ICS/Pre-Medical Equivalent Certificate with Mathematics & Physics
c. No Entry Test Required

Program

To become eligible for award of Bachelor of Science in Physics degree, a student must satisfy the following requirements:
a) Must have studied and passed the prescribed courses, totaling at least 133 credit hours; including 03 credit hours of Research Project.
b) Must have earned Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 2.0 on a scale of 4.0.

Spring Semester:

  • February to June

Fall Semester:

  • August to January

>Each semester comprises of sixteen weeks of teaching. Mid Semester Examination are held after eighth week. The seventeenth week shall be of preparatory holidays for End Semester Examination which shall be held in the eighteen week.
The medium of instruction at KICSIT is English except for Islamic Studies.

  • Monday to Friday

Timings:

  • 9:00am to 3:00pm Monday to Friday

>These timings may change as per requirement of the Institute. Each semester is followed by a few weeks inter-semester break for the preparation of semester results and for students to recreate and prepare for next semester.

KICSIT is Campus of Institute of Space Technology (IST). All admissions to KICSIT are subject to approval of IST, these are finalized by issuance of Registration Numbers from University.
